Alderp Barnes Alexei

Alderp Barnes Alexei (often just called Lord Alderp or Alexei Alderp) is a minor but memorable antagonist in KonoSuba.

He is the corrupt, lecherous governor (or lord) of Axel’s neighboring territory. Alderp is a middle-aged, overweight nobleman with a sleazy personality who abuses his position and wealth to indulge his desires — particularly his obsession with beautiful women.

In the story (primarily in the light novels and season 2 of the anime), he becomes infatuated with Darkness due to her noble status and masochistic tendencies, and he schemes to force her into marrying him through political pressure, blackmail, and manipulation. His actions eventually lead to a confrontation involving Kazuma’s party.
