Toge Inumaki

Toge Inumaki is a second-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High in Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a semi-grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer and a descendant of the Inumaki clan.

His most distinctive trait is his Cursed Speech technique: any command he speaks infused with cursed energy becomes reality and forces people (or curses) to obey it. Because prolonged or powerful use of Cursed Speech damages his throat and vocal cords, he limits his everyday vocabulary to a small set of safe onigiri (rice ball) ingredients to communicate:

• "Salmon" (しゃけ) → affirmation / yes / agreement
• "Bonito flakes" (おかか) → negation / no / disagreement
• "Kelp" (昆布) → greeting / hey / attention
• "Mustard leaf" (タケノコ) → concern / wait / something's wrong
• "Salmon roe" (いくら) → emphasis / stronger agreement
• And a few others like "Tuna mayo", "Seaweed", etc.

Because of this, he almost never speaks in normal sentences, which gives him a calm, quiet, and somewhat mysterious personality. Despite his limited speech, he's very expressive through body language, facial cues, and context, and his teammates understand him perfectly.

He's typically seen wearing a high-collar zipper uniform that covers his mouth (and the characteristic cursed speech seal markings on his cheeks and tongue). He's considered one of the more level-headed and reliable members of the second-years.
