Xenovia Quarta

Xenovia Quarta is one of the prominent female characters in High School DxD.

She is a third-year student at Kuoh Academy (Class 3-B) and a reincarnated Devil serving as a Knight in the peerage—initially under Rias Gremory as her second Knight (alongside Yuuto Kiba), and later as Issei Hyoudou's first Knight after his promotion.

Originally a devout exorcist from the Church, she was a natural-born Holy Sword wielder partnered with Irina Shidou. She specializes in wielding the legendary Holy Sword Durandal (and briefly Excalibur-related fragments), making her an exceptionally powerful swordswoman with superhuman speed and destructive capabilities.

After learning the truth about God's death during the great war, she was excommunicated from the Church and chose to become a Devil to continue fighting for her beliefs.

Personality-wise, Xenovia is serious, determined, blunt, and mission-focused at first, with a straightforward (sometimes socially clueless) attitude due to her sheltered Church upbringing—leading to some comedic moments. She later develops close bonds with the group, showing loyalty, competitiveness, and a strong desire for powerful offspring (particularly with Issei, as one of his fiancées).

She's often portrayed as athletic, confident, and a bit arrogant about her swordsmanship skills.
