Michael

Michael is one of the most prominent angelic figures in High School DxD. He is the Archangel and former leader of the Angels and the Four Great Seraphs (having passed the leadership role to Gabriel). As one of the original creations of the God of the Bible, he stepped up to lead Heaven after God's death during the ancient Great War between the Three Factions.

He has the appearance of a handsome man with long blond hair and green eyes, often depicted with twelve golden wings symbolizing his immense power.

Personality-wise, Michael is kind, compassionate, laid-back, and peace-oriented—he strongly dislikes war and works toward cooperation between the factions (as seen in the peace treaty efforts). He plays a supporting role in the story, such as gifting Issei the holy sword Ascalon and helping manage Heaven's affairs, including the Brave Saints system and replenishing the angel population.
