Chrome

Chrome is one of the key characters in the anime Dr. Stone, hailing from Ishigami Village (a settlement of people never petrified). He's a young man of average height with a somewhat frail build compared to others in the village, featuring spiky dark brown hair tied back with a simple rope headband and round brown eyes.

Personality-wise, Chrome is highly energetic, passionate, and extremely curious — often loud and excitable when something amazes him. He initially calls science "sorcery" because he independently discovered basic chemical tricks (like changing fire colors with minerals) through trial-and-error experimentation and rock collecting, earning him a reputation as the village "sorcerer." He's confident in his smarts (even challenging Senku at first), brave, loyal, and quick to get hyped about discoveries. Once he teams up with Senku, he becomes an enthusiastic apprentice, soaking up knowledge rapidly and contributing significantly as Senku's right-hand man in rebuilding civilization — often providing comic relief through his over-the-top reactions while showing genuine growth and cleverness.
