Akaza

Akaza is one of the major antagonists in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a powerful demon serving as Upper Rank Three (Jōgen no San) among the Twelve Kizuki, Muzan's elite group of demons.

Akaza is a highly muscular young-looking man with distinctive pale, slightly green-tinged skin covered in blue line patterns (resembling old criminal tattoos), short fluffy cerise/pink hair, and yellow eyes with blue sclera and the "Upper Rank Three" kanji etched in his irises. He typically wears minimal clothing: a short, open, sleeveless purple-pink haori exposing his chest, baggy white pants, and pearl anklets, often fighting barefoot.

Personality-wise, he is headstrong, stubborn, and battle-obsessed — a true martial arts enthusiast who respects strength above all else. He despises weakness intensely (to the point of physical revulsion) and lives for challenging strong opponents, especially skilled Demon Slayers, refusing to fight women out of a personal code. His combat style revolves around hand-to-hand martial arts enhanced by his Blood Demon Art, "Destructive Death," which generates powerful shockwaves.
