Masayoshi Hashimoto

Masayoshi Hashimoto is a student in Class 1-A (the top class) at the Advanced Nurturing High School in the Classroom of the Elite anime. He's a supporting character who appears notably in Seasons 2 and 3, as a key member of Arisu Sakayanagi's inner circle and faction.

In the anime adaptation, Hashimoto is portrayed as a sharp, calculating, and highly pragmatic individual. He has a self-serving personality with little genuine loyalty to others—he tends to align himself with whoever he believes will come out on top (quickly siding with Sakayanagi in the Class A leadership dynamics because he saw her as the stronger leader). He's often involved in gathering information, executing plans, and acting as a reliable but opportunistic ally within Sakayanagi's group.

His appearance features long blonde hair tied in a ponytail and green eyes, giving him a somewhat distinctive look among the students. Voiced by Youhei Azakami in Japanese (with other dubs available), he comes across as confident, sarcastic at times, and strategically minded rather than overtly aggressive or emotional.
