Akane Tachibana

Akane Tachibana is a supporting character in the Classroom of the Elite anime adaptation. She is a third-year student at Advanced Nurturing High School, specifically from Class A, and serves as the secretary of the Student Council under President Manabu Horikita.

In the anime (across Seasons 1–3), she appears as a composed, polite, and reliable assistant to Manabu, often seen accompanying him during student council matters or school events. She maintains a calm and professional demeanor, though she can switch to a more serious tone when needed (such as during disciplinary discussions). She is shown to hold deep respect and admiration for Manabu, with subtle hints of romantic feelings toward him that she keeps private.

Her role is mostly secondary, helping highlight the student council's operations and Manabu's leadership, rather than being a central figure in the main plot. She is voiced by Konomi Kohara in Japanese (and Apphia Yu in English).
