Yoruichi Shihōin

Yoruichi Shihōin is one of the most iconic characters in Bleach.

She's a former captain of the 2nd Division of the Gotei 13 and was also the commander of the Stealth Force (Onmitsukidō) in Soul Society — making her one of the highest-ranking and most skilled shinobi-type fighters in history.

Key points:

• Nicknamed the "Flash Goddess" (Shunshin) due to her unmatched mastery of Shunpo (the fastest movement technique in the series).
• She can transform into a black cat at will and frequently appears in that form.
• She has dark skin, purple hair (often tied in a ponytail), and a very athletic, toned build.
• Personality-wise, she's confident, playful, teasing, intelligent, and laid-back — but becomes deadly serious when it matters.
• She's a childhood friend and former mentor of Soi Fon, and has a very close, long-standing bond with Kisuke Urahara.
