Kenpachi Zaraki

Kenpachi Zaraki is one of the most iconic characters in Bleach.

He is the captain of the 11th Division of the Gotei 13, a squad that specializes almost exclusively in direct, brutal melee combat and values strength above everything else.

Key traits:

• Extremely battle-obsessed and loves fighting more than almost anything
• Wields immense raw physical power and reiatsu (spiritual pressure) — considered monstrous even among captains
• Wears an eyepatch that actually suppresses a large portion of his spiritual energy
• Has a large, jagged scar running down the left side of his face
• Long, wild, spiky black hair with small golden bells tied into it
• Almost never uses Bankai (only revealed very late in the story) and rarely even uses Shikai, preferring pure swordsmanship and physical strength
• Has a very rough, direct, and bloodthirsty personality, but shows surprising loyalty and a twisted sense of honor toward worthy opponents

His defining philosophy is simple: the only thing that matters is being strong enough to enjoy the fight.

He's basically the embodiment of overwhelming, unrestrained combat power in the Bleach universe.
