About Nao Stow

Nao Stow is a supporting character in the anime Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside. She is a half-elf (often described simply as an elf-like resident in the anime context) living in the peaceful town of Zoltan.

She is the younger sister of the carpenter Gonze, the wife of Mido Stow, and the devoted mother of young Tanta Stow. Nao has a warm, cheerful, and lively personality—she's always in a good mood, friendly, and enjoys spending time with friends and family. She's portrayed as a caring, family-oriented homemaker who often wears an apron, reflecting her domestic role.

In the story, she's particularly grateful to the protagonist Red after he helps save her son Tanta from illness. She also becomes a supporter of Red's budding relationship with Rit, playfully "shipping" them and adding lighthearted moments to the slice-of-life scenes in town.

Her role is minor but contributes to the cozy, community-focused atmosphere of the series. Voiced by Sora Tokui in Japanese (and Sarah Roach in English dub).
