Ajest Jedgar F. Roguepalace

Ajest Jedgar F. Roguepalace (also known as Azest Kingscrown in the anime) is a key supporting character in the anime adaptation of A Returner's Magic Should Be Special. She is the firstborn daughter and heir of the Hebrion Empire's emperor, Gilltian Jedgar F. Roguepalace, though she enrolls at Hebrion Academy under the alias "Azest Kingscrown" to conceal her royal identity.

In the anime, she's portrayed as a highly talented Magic Knight and the top student at the academy, specializing in ice-based magic. She initially comes across as cold, aloof, and somewhat disinterested in others, often appearing bored or detached due to her overwhelming skill level leaving her unchallenged. She starts affiliated with the Blue Moon Party but later joins Desir Arman's group after he narrowly defeats her in a duel, sparking her interest in genuine competition and alliances.

Her personality evolves through interactions with Desir, showing a more engaged side as she finds excitement in facing worthy opponents. Voiced by Asami Seto (Japanese) and Anastasia Muñoz (English).
