Mashle: Magic and Muscles (also known as Mashle) is a comedy-action anime (and manga) that's basically a hilarious parody of Harry Potter-style wizard worlds, but with a twist: the protagonist has zero magic and just ridiculously overpowered muscles instead.
In a society where magic determines your entire social status and worth and people without it are basically considered subhuman and face execution, a super-strong, deadpan teen named Mash Burnedead lives hidden away in the forest with his adoptive father. Mash has trained obsessively his whole life, turning himself into a walking powerhouse of physical strength, but he literally can't cast a single spell.
When his existence is discovered, Mash is forced to enroll in the elite Easton Magic Academy to aim for the title of Divine Visionary (the top student rank), which would grant him and his father protection and acceptance in society. The story follows Mash bulldozing through magical challenges, exams, rival students, and school life using pure brute force punching through spells, "flying" brooms by jumping insanely high, outmuscling magical creatures, and generally treating magic like it's irrelevant compared to gains.
It's packed with over-the-top action, deadpan humor, gag-filled fights, and Mash's unchanging love for cream puffs, all while poking fun at typical fantasy/shonen tropes. Super fun, lighthearted watch if you enjoy absurd power fantasies and comedy!
