Motoyasu Kitamura is the Spear Hero, one of the four Legendary Heroes summoned to the world of Melromarc in The Rising of the Shield Hero anime.

Appearance: He is the tallest of the heroes, with long blonde hair tied back in a ponytail (with some bangs hanging down), bright orange eyes, and an athletic, heroic build. He typically wears distinctive armor, often in red and white tones with gold accents early on, giving him a flashy, confident look.

Personality: Motoyasu stands out as the friendliest and most outgoing of the four heroes. He's loyal to his allies and party members, treating them well, and generally comes across as a nice, charismatic guy—often acting like a cool, older-brother type. However, he's extremely naive, gullible, and easily manipulated, especially by women. He tends to believe almost anything a female companion tells him without question or evidence, which leads him into major conflicts (like blindly siding against Naofumi due to false accusations early in the series).
