Winona

Winona (known as Nagi in Japanese) is the Gym Leader of Fortree City in the Hoenn region, specializing in Flying-type Pokémon. She appears in the anime during the Advanced Generation series (Pokémon: Ruby and Sapphire).

She is depicted as a graceful and elegant woman with long lavender hair tied in a low ponytail, violet eyes, and a slender build. Winona has a kind, caring personality and a deep love for Flying Pokémon, often flying with them over the city and participating in Fortree's Feather Carnival to celebrate them. She is passionate about battling with grace and believes in living in harmony with nature.

In her gym battle against Ash, she uses Pokémon like Altaria, Pelipper, Skarmory, and a shiny Swellow. She awards the Feather Badge upon defeat.
