Marquis Boullope

Marquis Boullope is one of the Six Great Nobles in the Re-Estize Kingdom in Overlord. He leads the Noble Faction (aristocratic faction) and opposes the weakening royal authority under King Ramposa III.

He is depicted as a battle-hardened noble in his fifties, with a heavily scarred face that gives him the appearance of a seasoned warlord, though his once-stout, trained physique has declined with age. He commands significant lands (the largest among the great nobles), maintains a strong private army including elite troops inspired by Gazef Stronoff's warrior band, and is respected as one of the kingdom's better military commanders—despite his straightforward tactical style (essentially "charge" or "retreat").

Personality-wise, he is a firm believer in noble superiority, despises commoners (especially those like Gazef Stronoff) holding high positions or influence, and shows arrogance toward threats like Ainz Ooal Gown. He appears mainly in Overlord II and III (seasons 2–3 of the anime), particularly around the events leading to and during the Katze Plains conflict.
