Hilma Cygnaeus

Hilma Cygnaeus is a supporting character in the anime Overlord. She serves as the leader of the drug trade division within the criminal syndicate known as Eight Fingers, a major underworld organization in the Re-Estize Kingdom.

She is portrayed as a cunning and intelligent former high-class prostitute who rose through the ranks using her skills in manipulation, blackmail, and seduction. In the anime (particularly appearing in seasons 2 and 4), she has a distinctive appearance with pale skin, white clothing, a snake tattoo on her arm, and often smokes a pipe emitting purple fumes.

Her storyline involves a confrontation with forces from Nazarick, leading to her capture, intense psychological breaking (via torture methods like repeated horrific experiences with Kyouhukou), and eventual complete submission and loyalty to Ainz Ooal Gown. After this, she becomes a broken but useful informant and asset, deeply admiring Ainz's "fairness" compared to the cruelty of his subordinates.
