Franzén

Franzén (フランセーン) is a minor character in the Overlord anime (appearing in Season 2 and briefly referenced in Season 3).

He is one of Marquis Raeven's private troops / personal guards in the Re-Estize Kingdom. Franzén is a former orichalcum-ranked adventurer (a high mid-tier rank in the adventurer guild system), indicating he was a very capable and experienced fighter before entering the marquis's service.

In the anime, he has a non-speaking role and is shown as a loyal, brave human warrior who wears armor (with light brown hair described in source material). He participates in events tied to the kingdom's conflicts, including the catastrophic battle at Katze Plains against Ainz Ooal Gown's forces, where he ultimately sacrifices himself to help his lord escape.

He's essentially a background figure meant to show the quality of elite human fighters in the New World—strong by normal standards, but hopelessly outmatched against Nazarick's power.
