Davernoch

Davernoch is a minor character in the Overlord anime (appearing in Season 2).

He is an Elder Lich (a type of powerful undead magic caster) and a member of Six Arms, the combat/security team of the criminal syndicate Eight Fingers. He hides his skeletal undead form under a red robe.

Davernoch is arrogant and calls himself the "Undead King" (or sometimes "Undying King"), despite being relatively weak compared to true powerhouses in the series. Unlike most undead, he can somewhat suppress his instinctive hatred for the living.

His most notable (and final) moment comes when he and the other Six Arms members confront Sebas Tian after kidnapping Tsuare. When Davernoch proudly announces his self-proclaimed title, Sebas takes it as an insult to his master Ainz Ooal Gown (the real Undead King) and instantly kills him with a single devastating punch.

In short, he's a short-lived, overconfident villain who serves mainly to highlight how outclassed New World natives are against Nazarick's forces.
