Cedran

Cedran is a minor character in the anime Overlord, appearing briefly in Season 1.

He serves as the 8th Seat of the Black Scripture, the elite special forces unit of the Slane Theocracy. Known by the moniker "Huge Shield" or "Myriad Barriers," he is a defensive specialist who wields a massive, mirror-like shield.

Physically, Cedran is depicted as a tall, robust, and muscular man with a tan complexion and long crimson hair tied in a slim ponytail with matching sideburns. He has a stern personality and is shown loyally protecting his allies (particularly the World Item user Kaire) in a critical moment.

In the story, during a mission involving Shalltear Bloodfallen (under mind control), Cedran attempts to block her attack with his shield but is ultimately killed when the strike pierces straight through him.
