Baron Montserrat

Baron Montserrat is a minor character in the Overlord anime (appearing in season 4 / Overlord IV). He was the former head of the low-class Montserrat noble family in the Re-Estize Kingdom and father to Philip Dayton L'Eyre Montserrat.

He is portrayed as a competent, responsible noble who tried to guide his youngest son (Philip) in managing their family's domain after Philip became heir (following the deaths of his older brothers). Their relationship was strained, and he had little respect or warmth toward Philip.

In the story's events, he meets a grim fate during the Sorcerer Kingdom's actions against the Re-Estize Kingdom (his severed head is used as part of a "gift" box in the anime adaptation, differing slightly from the light novels). He has a brief on-screen role, mainly tied to Philip's arc.
