Marin Kitagawa is the female lead in My Dress-Up Darling (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru).

She's a cheerful, outgoing, and extremely popular gyaru high school girl with a bright, friendly personality. Despite her trendy, fashionable appearance (long blonde hair, often with accessories, and a stylish vibe), Marin is a huge otaku at heart. She's deeply passionate about anime, manga, video games, and especially cosplay.

Marin is energetic, honest, affectionate, and has zero shame about her hobbies — she openly geeks out over characters and series she loves. She's very expressive, physically affectionate, and tends to get excited easily, which often puts the more reserved male lead, Wakana Gojo, into flustered or awkward situations.

Her dream is to perfectly cosplay her favorite characters, and that's what brings her together with Gojo, a shy hina doll craftsman who helps her with the detailed costume-making.
