Yoshinobu Gakuganji

Yoshinobu Gakuganji is one of the more conservative and traditional higher-ups in the Jujutsu world in Jujutsu Kaisen.

He serves as a principal of Kyoto Jujutsu High (the sister school to Tokyo Jujutsu High) and is also a member of the important group of conservative elders who hold significant influence over jujutsu society decisions.

Key characteristics:

• Elderly appearance with a very traditional, stern look (often shown wearing formal traditional attire and playing a guitar in his free time).
• Extremely old-fashioned and rigid mindset — he strongly opposes change, dislikes Satoru Gojo's overwhelming power and unorthodox attitude, and generally distrusts unconventional sorcerers.
• Views the current younger generation (especially Yuji Itadori) with deep suspicion and believes in strict, traditional control of the jujutsu world.
• His cursed technique involves using his electric guitar to channel cursed energy into sound-based attacks (sonic blasts / vibrations).

Overall, Gakuganji represents the old guard of jujutsu society: powerful in his own right, politically influential, but deeply antagonistic toward anything that threatens the established hierarchy — especially Gojo and anyone connected to him.
