Rika Orimoto

Rika Orimoto is a key character from Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (the prequel to the main series). She was the childhood friend (and promised fiancée) of Yuta Okkotsu, a kind, innocent young girl who tragically died in a car accident at age 11.

Her death, combined with the intense emotions and a childhood promise between her and Yuta, caused her spirit to become a powerful special grade vengeful cursed spirit — often called the "Queen of Curses" due to her overwhelming strength and near-limitless cursed energy.

As a human, Rika was sweet, cheerful, and deeply attached to Yuta. As a cursed spirit, she manifested as a terrifying, monstrous entity with a massive muscular upper body, long arms, sharp features, and ferocious protectiveness — violently attacking anyone who threatened him.

Her curse haunted Yuta for years until he learned to break it at Tokyo Jujutsu High, allowing her soul to finally pass on peacefully. (Even after this, a manifestation tied to Yuta's technique remains in the main story as a symbol of her lingering love and protection.)

She's a tragic figure whose story explores themes of love, loss, grief, and how powerful emotions can create curses.
