Kokichi Muta

Kokichi Muta (also known as Mechamaru) is a supporting character in Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a second-year student at Kyoto Jujutsu High, but due to a Heavenly Restriction he was born with, his real body is extremely frail, scarred, and immobile (with missing limbs in parts, chronic pain, and inability to tolerate light or move normally). This forces him to attend school and participate in battles remotely by controlling a powerful mechanical cursed corpse puppet called Ultimate Mechamaru.

His cursed technique revolves around Puppet Manipulation, allowing him to control puppets (including Mechamaru) from great distances with exceptional cursed energy output as compensation for his physical weakness.

Kokichi is generally portrayed as reclusive, reserved, and somewhat resentful of his circumstances, though he deeply values his connections to his classmates.
