Masaki Kurosaki

Masaki Kurosaki is Ichigo Kurosaki's mother in the anime/manga Bleach. She was a pure-blooded (Echt) Quincy, the wife of Isshin Kurosaki (a former Soul Reaper captain), and the mother of Ichigo, Karin, and Yuzu.

She is remembered as a cheerful, loving, and kind woman who was the emotional center of the Kurosaki family—Ichigo describes her as someone he never saw get angry or sad. Masaki died when Ichigo was young while protecting him from a Hollow (initially presented as Grand Fisher), though the full circumstances involve deeper backstory from the series' later arcs, including her Quincy heritage, an encounter with a special Hollow, and events tied to the Quincy conflict.

She appears mostly in flashbacks, as a caring mother and, in her youth, as a confident and capable Quincy fighter.
